You can buy the basic plugs from any auto parts store. I would try DIY, if it does not hold, then patch at tire shop.

If you do the DIY plug, make sure you are fully inflated first as it easier to pull the screw out when there is a lot of pressure inside the tire. Have the plug ready, and insert, twist, pull out, cut out excess with any plier/cutter.
