2018 x5 sdrive 35…
Today had new front and rears put on. All same spec/size/ RFT only thing different was went from Pzero to Bridgestone. After I got the car back and drove for about 40 min home I got into my neighborhood with the windows down and could hear an odd metal to metal clanking coming from the left rear. The noise was not present prior to the tires as I had the windows down. Called the tire store which all they do is tires and not a mechanic shop. They had me bring it back in, took the wheel off, rim was sitting on the hub fine, lugs not loose, dust shield in tact. A little play left to right rotating in the rotor like a steering wheel but normal axle slack about half an inch.

The noise is present under low speed take off. And can be heard in D and R from about 5-15mph, it does not vary with RPM and is a constant tone. It’s a clanging of sorts. I just don’t know what it could be after just changing tires. An alignment was not done at time of instll for reference, so possibly putting some sort of strain on the drivetrain?. Has anyone else heard this

Tpms came apart and is bouncing inside the tire?
And as the wheel spins faster, centrifugal force keeps the tpms pressed against the outer tire.

That was my initial thought, but no tpms error, and when the tire shop took the wheel back off when I brought it back there was no loose noises coming from inside the wheel area. Definitely a metal to metal clanking

That’s almost what I’m leaning towards now too. I took a new video that I just uploaded next to the wheel and it’s noticeable from 5-10mph, not below and not much above
