Tuesday morning is the official completion date now due to issues with lights and resin drying time. Just a disclaimer to everyone...choose your companies carefully. If they say they will deliver by a certain day, make sure they keep that promise.

Hi @opasha wrapping your car is a bit like giving birth to an elephant; slow and painful (I imagine).

Can't wait to un-wrap (did you see what I did there) your early Christmas present

@opasha, I am really sorry to hear about the latest delay. I know many of us are keeping our fingers crossed for you that things will work out beautifully - and you can say it was well worth the minor delays in the final product delivered.

Hang in there buddy!

I don't have any new ones because I haven't had time to visit the shop. When it's ready, I'll post pics.

Haha, thanks for the funny picture, @Haris. More bad news, though. Due to the temperature drop (20-25 degrees) where I live, the resin on the interior panels did not dry completely. His garage does not have heat on when he is not there working. So, he had to take the carbon fiber parts home to let them dry before the final wet sanding/buffing. I'm going tomorrow though to take some updated pictures. He said Thursday everything will be finished. Now, I really do feel like I ordered my car and had to play the waiting game like many of you guys, lol.

Oh well...good things come to those who wait .

Oh Em Gee. I really feel for ya, buddy! I'm beginning to understand what labor pains feel like, and I'm not even the car's owner! But I respect your attitude: "good things come to those who wait".... Stay positive my friend!

OP updated with two pictures. This is the real 3k carbon fiber on the rear bumper around the exhaust area before being cut and coated with the resin (just waiting on that to dry still). I was sick today, so I was unable to go in to take new pictures.

Had no idea you were finally getting this done too.
What are you driving while the baby is sleeping there?

I'm driving the family spare vehicle in the meantime - 2005 QX56 (ps: that's not our picture, but we have the exact color/model):

I think you can fit an X1 in the back of that thing if you fold the third and second row.

Haha, no, thankfully . People don't like to drive in front of it though at night because of how high up it is and the Bi-Xenon strength. So, it's nice when you want people to move over into the next lane without having to flash .

Here you go:

PS: I considered QX80 while shopping for F15, so I can make fun of any Infiniti as much as I want.
