Glass Coating Pictures
Here is the link to my pictures of glass coating project. I used a professional detailer here in Seoul, Korea.

I am not a detailer so not sure....Im thinking it was the chemical compound (glass coating) before smoothing it out. The glass coating started in Japan and made its way here to Korea.

Is it similar to the Second Skin 6 (http://www.chemicalguys.com/Chemical...wac_224_02.htm) from Chemical guys? I have it but think I applied it incorrectly because I'm extremely disappointed with the results.

I paid $800 or something like that for Zurich Shield for inside and out. The interior application was demonstrated on a piece of paper where the part that was treated beaded water, or coffee as the sales guy showed me. The product has limited renewable lifetime warranty, which I have no idea what it means. A friend has had it on his car for a year, and loves it. But I don't know if it is glass suspended in a solvent, which what some of the nano coats are.
As @nameisjae1 points out, this has come to us by way of Japan. When I lived there, you get your car detailed with a glass coating. You can search for Japanese glass coating for cars on Rakuten, shipped worldwide. |

great pics!!
I've never seen any 35i in s.korea yet. (BMW korea only offers diesel models) are you a diplomat or a U.S army? I heard they could buy U.S spec cars in here too. Anyway, how do you rate the glass coating? I've never done it to my previous four bimmers in U.S and Canada, but ppl in here do it as a mandatory thing. Is this worth it? I would definitely do the tint to wrap all the windows since the government allows it to wrap even the windshield (maybe the law prohibits it but ppl don't care), but haven't decided the coating yet, Mine will be on my hand next week!
