I've seen many on eBay but as they are technically not approved for US use I doubt many vendors would be take the chance.

I don't get it! Even the Mirrors are different for US Spec Cars?! What's the difference between them?

In the US mirrors everthing is enlarged. Apperently when all looks closer and a warning sticker as well 'improves' safety (hence not copied around the world). But bear in mind it is also something you get used to when judging distances.

I purchased the euro mirrors on ebay and for me they are a necessity on the X5. The mirrors are simply too small for such a large vehicle that no matter how far out i position my stock mirrors there is a significant blind spot on this car compared to other cars i've owned. The euro mirrors basically eliminates any blind spots now. It takes alittle getting use to but its well worth it imo. The install literally takes 2mins. You just position the mirrors angled all the way up toward the sky and you slip your finger underneath to pull/pop them right off. No screws or anything.

I haven't put them on my F15 yet, but I have them on my A4 and love them.

I have them on my Audi S5, Touareg, and will have them on my X5 when ever that happens. I never got the antidazzle feature ( to expensive) and just left that un-plugged. Didn't make that much difference.

When I was looking, I remember there were different part numbers. Make sure you buy from the ebay listing that says auto dimming and heated. There is a version that is missing auto dimming or heated (I can't remember which)

I prefer the regular mirrors we have here. I just tilt a head little and I can see more.
