+1 correct.

And in iOS 8.1 "hey siri" or "hi siri" while the phone is connected to a charger.

Random this morning. Connected my iPhone 6 to my 2015 x5 emails started coming through. It was awesome! Had to go into a meeting so disconnected from bluetooth and when reconnected I can't get it to work again. So clearly it has the ability to function with an iPhone 6. I have to figure out why and how it worked. Its a mystery!

Very easy. No iDrive menus to maneuver around. Phone is parked behind the display.

Matt, how did you mount the phone behind the screen?

I just stuck it in the gap behind the screen. It is not mounted on anything. I wanted the phone present in the video as I demo'd the Siri message readout.

I may try a DIY solution for it though....you have me thinking. It would have to be a stand that is taller, because as shown in the video, you would be missing part of the screen and your home button.
