Did they remove this ability? I have a 50i Msport and it doesn't work or I can not get it to work.

I had a 2015 X5 35i loaner when I had my 2013 X5 and it worked on it. I'm wondering if it works with the M Sport package.

From what ive read the F15's don't have this

on my X6, it works but not all the time

You're supposed to be able to wave your foot under the bumper and have the trunk open while you're carrying things

Models that for sure DO NOT have the trunk/hatch opening feature are 2 series, 6 series, X1, X5, Z4. Other models may not trunk opening (or closing) depending on model/equipment"

So could it really be that X6 have it but not X5?? I´ll see my X5 on Sunday again and will give it a more thorough test.

It's a little funny that on the car it would probably be most useful on, is the one that doesn't have it.

35i has no such option. It would need a sensor under the bumper.
Mine is pretty optioned out and I have nothing like this.

I can tell you for certain that the X5 F15 does not have this although some people have a quick guide folder they received with instructions on how to use it.

I have checked the parts diagram, and the part is shared with X3, X4 and X6. At last follow up r33 was trying to determine how to wire it as the part itself is fairly cheap (circa $50-70).

It works on my F16, I would say 9 times out 10. The F15 doesn't have this option however.

Works on my f16.

You have to have the key in your pocket and you have to wave your foot once then stand back a little. If u don't move back it won't open because it thinks you're too close. Same thing for closing

My f16 works every single time. I use it daily. Just kind of kick forward in the middle section beneath the bumper.

I have a 2015 x6 which I just got with comfort access. So is it confirmed that I have this feature. I have the m sport package (don't know if that makes a difference or not).

X5 does not have the sensor in the bumper. Also X3 mSport bumper does not have it but xLine does.

Could tou please dive under your rear bumper and check if you have sensors there? Also do you have an M sport package?

I've already done it and i don't see any sensors there... I have M sport package because mine is an M50d,

What's odd is that this is specifically called out in the X5M and X6M owners handbook as a feature - which you'd think they wouldn't do if this doesn't work on variants with the bodykit?

That said, I swear it doesn't work on my X6M.
