If I was 17 again....I had a 320i in 1981....back then all we could do was buy third brake lights from German catalogues, install another set of round Hella lights, a second set of rectangular Bosch fog lights, buy spoiler kits, pretend to be half rally cars half track cars....I was convinced my 0-60 time had improved from 10.5 to 10.4 because of the spoilers.
If I install these on my wife's X5 she might kick me in the head. But the sill lights, if they are battery op. and easy to install, may be at my level of expertise and something I will pick up....Looking forward to seeing photos from others who are in the process of installing/getting the sills. |

You should have gone for the 'go faster' stripes, they really work |

I found her....she looked a little bit like this, in silver, with a front spoiler, and four rectangular fog lights below the bumper. It was really foggy in Santa Barabar those days. |

They look like this on the website, hope that is for F15 (it comes out in F15 x5 accessories, but it fits a lot of other models according to description). Installation time quoted 15 mins, no other parts required with msport. They have a battery inside that should last about two years.
What do you guys think? Which one is better? Cheers. |

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking because I tried looking these up on the US sites and they don't exist for the X5s. So, I'm gonna hold off until I find something that does fit correctly since the front and rear are different sizes. I really do love the illuminated look. Post your pictures when you get them, please . Thanks!

EDIT: decided on just doing the blue ambient light since it matches nicely and only costs $150 to be hardwired into the LED ambient lighting - it will be a much cleaner setup. I use blue most of the time anyway.

Got them, installed in a rush by the dealer cost free but they are not illuminated because wrongly installed . They were litten when the box opened and then no more. Hope i cam make them work today, i have a cold but i do not wanna wait. They look far less impressive than i had hoped. I think that for individual you may need to change the whole plastic below, hopefully they are bigger and more impressive. Will post photos when and if i get them to work. Now with instructions that I do not understand! Have no clue where to put the small part D+E
