You may have seen my thread on the fog lights being placed too high on the bumper, and insufficient in size and brightness in white-out conditions (I had my wife in the rear view mirror for 2+ hours in day-time snow blizzard in the mountains...the lights looked like a a tiny dot...other cars had bright and visible fogs). Useless LED Foglight Thread.

At any rate, thanks to used lights on eBay I fixed the problem:

Wife just picked up 2016 X5 35i and I picked up 2016 F80 M3 in Frozen Black. Both US Spec cars delivered via BMW US Military Sales in Germany.

She really liked her 2015 X3, but now compared to the X5, the X3 looks sad and small

M3 Piotr Any plans for amber rear turn signals (Euro spec)? Doing it in the US is not possible at dealers. DIY involves wiring, light fixtures and coding. I am guessing dealers there are more versed in installing their own rear turn signals.

I'll ask the dealer when I go by next time. They have been able do some coding for me before on my previous E90 M3 and E70 X5, on options that are blocked on US cars.

Fantastic choice with the Frozen Black! Can't say that I have seen one of those in person. The things we could do with the wheel options on that paint scheme

Well...that helps settle what color and trim I'm getting. I've been dithering between Glacial Silver vs. Space Grey and xLine vs. M Sport. There are LOTS of shots of Space Grey in both trims but so few of the Glacial Silver. I'm definitely going to go Glacial Silver in the M Sport trim. Thanks!

We have had less snow than most northern US states this year. Actually very little to no snow here and 55 degrees this week, but no issues at all. I would advise anyone who has the carbon lip to wrap it in clear film to avoid pitting though
