Park and Reverse
So how long will it be until I stop putting the car into Reverse when I meant to put it in Park? After 27 years of pushing the gear shift forward to park I keep finding myself rolling backward and wondering why!

Why do you move the shifter to put the vehicle in Park? It's a button, better yet don't even touch it, just turn off the engine.
And switches the lever back to D if you are in M/S mode. I love that nifty trick. I don't remember the last time I used P or the Parking Brake in a BMW.

Manual Shifter, also in the past turned on "Sport" transmission. Unlike other SUV's like Benz, it allows you to actually upshift & downshift, whereas in other vehicles (not 2015's, I haven't driven those) it acted as "Limiter" so it didn't actually allow you to upshift and coast at higher rpms, but with BMW M/S you are actually able to upshift and go up a gear, all the way to highest possible for the speed you are traveling.
Now, we have M/S and a separate, completely independent Sport mode by using the rocker. To be honest, I haven't had the need to use this since transmission in F15 is much quicker than E70 (so far) and it's almost useless when downshifting to use as engine braking.
