Birds Eye View on Button #1

Hello,

New member here:

While I enjoy the birds eye it always comes on too late as does the proximity sensor screen or sometimes I want birds eye and it shows rear view cam.

Is there a way to put Birds Eye on button 1 and reverse cam on button 2 without coding?

If it requires coding rather than learn how to do it myself can we pay BMW to do these things or is there another method?

Ideally I'd like to press #1 before i pull into a stall or the garage and navigate the car in this way.

Thanks in advance!

Just press the button next to your gear selector to bring up the surround view. Then press the drive controller to switch to rear view. No coding required, and not favourites required either.

Congratulations and welcome to the forum. Interesting to see the dealer installed the 599 wheels on a F15 on the lot. Nice.....

They're 375s. If they're OEMs, they're 21" lightweight performance wheels and BMW is Very proud of them ($5k for the wheel/tire set).

375s are awesome. Reps are available in 20" now so you can have the look without having to (continuously) spend a fortune on tires.

Edit: I see reports of 599s. I thought 375 as soon as I saw them. It wouldn't be the first time I was wrong. I checked their site and they sure look more like 375s to me (the 375 and 599 are next to each other):

And they're up to $5.6k now. Yow! 599s managed to be more expensive.

You are right. They are 375s and they look really good. Lots of $$$$ for sure.

Yes it's the 375 on your link.

So how many miles should I expect before replacing the tires?

by the way what a dumb question I posted, after reading the reply I got in my car and duh! it's the two closest buttons to me.

I've read reports of as little as 5k and as much as 15k miles, but for the life of me I cannot find the reports now.

I do know, and I see others have reported that its important, is that you make sure that its aligned properly and they set the camber right. My last X6 ran the outside edge of its tires almost bald in a relatively short period of time. They adjusted the camber and it got a lot better.
