LED Headlights
I'm considering this option on a new build but none of dealers around me have a vehicle with this option on it. I'm mainly considering it for aesthetics and like to see some pics of them without low beam on (daytime running lights). Please post your pics

led--
I had a dressed 10' 3 series LED light pkg(xenon headlights). and parked next to my 13' x5 (many options, just not LED) in garage ppl always said the 10' was newer as the x5 had the big amber bulbs up front.. very chrysler looking.
I'm getting LED on this next order! |

You will see that there are no more super ugly, outdated looking big amber markers on F15 anymore, if that's the only thing you are concerned, you can save $1900 and keep stock lighting.

It looks great, we need a video of this so everyone can see it (please do not film it yourself) switching between Low and High beams on a road like this.
I never have roads as dark as this, and this is where LED really shines!

The aesthetic look is basically the same since the angel eyes are LED regardless of which package you have. The LED's headlights have an LED bar across the headlight whereas the non-LED are empty in the ring. Save your $1900 unless you are willing to code the LED's to allow the anti-dazzle function to work. Just my opinion after seeing both in action.

Holy full size pictures taking up double my 12.5" screen... It would have been nice at least if you posted F15 or F16 headlights not some other model for comparison. Basides the bars, remember with LED you have fully functioning set of headlights, whereas with xenons you only have one headlight on. It's a huge difference in visibility and looks. Not saying xenons are weak, they are nice, but there is a big difference than just a bar in them. Also you get LED blinkers, they look really good, much cleaner and better looking than amber incandescent (welcome to 2001) bulbs that BMW insists on using on a $70k+ vehicle while $20k sedans already upgraded to full leds.

I was really torn on this option, as i had a psychological (wife factor limit) and wanted to get m50d instead but without LED. I decided that i do not need m50d at all. Buying a less equiped m50d instead of pretty well equiped 30d msport still lingers in my mind. With the coded auto high beam LED is amazing in the night.
