What phone holder do you have?

Hey folks,
Was wondering if you all could share with me where you put your phone while driving?! I would like to find some option for myself to be able to charge the phone while driving, see the phone screen for navigation ect, but won't get to distracted from the road and DONT cover a airbag ... Just wondering how you all do it :thump:

Pics with the product maybe even installed would be super or name of product!
Thanks

I use Proclip USA. It's a custom mount for specific car and phone. I love it. I'll take a pic in the morning of it. Can be had for ~$65 w discount code.

Thankfully my iPhone integrates fully so I don't need to see it.

I do however sit it in the nearest cup holder in the centre console.

Haven't had a need to charge it on the go yet, if I did it'd be in the arm rest.

This thread might be of interest. I now have the magnetic mount in my E70 and F15 and like it:

I think I like the initial idea of putting it in the cupholder. But then my wife does not have a cupholder (jk). The most part what disturbs me about that is that I have to take my eyes of the road, besides not being able to close the "lid". Thank you for sharing though! :thump:

I do like the idea, but is that not al little to far away from the drivers seat for you? Is it scratching your trim?

I use the the Note 4, and it's within arms reach. It's not scratching the trim either. It's very well made and doesn't shift.

Magnetic mount connected to a vent. Easy install and removal. Easy mount and dismount. Nearly the same eye level as the iDrive screen. Inexpensive (price & source). Very strong grip.

Magnetic clip sounds great - any concerns regarding the phone's battery life (magnetic field)?

No there is no side effects. Also they are very sturdy they do not shake or move when you are using device attached which most phone holders do which drives me nuts.

masc2279, big thanks for the tip and pics -- it's a very neat and practical set-up. While I'm still expecting the delivery of my F15, my kitchen will get some of those magnetic mounts first

Yea I went with a magnetic holder also in the same spot just left of the screen. Its great so far, but I have a Samsung s5 with wireless charging so I had to put the magnet at the bottom (or the top) of the back away from the battery.
