Hah! Thanks! I am the same location testing out my new camera where I did the video for the fall foliage.
Maybe when we get more leaves and everything is greener

Almost one year passed since delivery, so it was time to refresh the hydrophobic layer and do the interior protection as well (using products of same vendor I did the nano-ceramics with). All and all - paint looks as good as new; as if only yesterday I took the car out of the showroom. Eh... if only the build quality of the current BMWs could match their looks

I encountered probably 20% of the most common issues with the F15 - I know guys who have been "lucky" to get cars with all kinds of different problems. In my case though:

1) All 4 doors were unlocking. After 2nd round of fixes the problem seems to be finally gone (touch wood).
2) The left back door was misaligned at the factory. Fixed at the dealer.
3) The drivers seat side bolsters was squealing like a pig when inflating/deflating. Fixed at the dealer.
4) The drivers seat left side bolster malfunctioned (did not inflate). Fixed at the dealer for... around 2 days. Now I'm onto another service appointment to replace all the mechanisms there.
5) The rear bench (comfort seats) is squeaking like an old sofa whenever someone sits on it. Still haven't paid much attention to it since I barely drive with someone in the rear once the wife finally got her drivers license (too much hustle moving kids stuff between cars). Someone mentioned that probably the whole bench has to be replaced...
6) Had numerous different squeaks and rattles all over. Some fixed, some continue to exist.
7) Passengers side wiper blade is not firmly aligned with the windshield. Pending solution/fix from the dealer.

I might have forgotten something at this point, but nevertheless - when I buy a car for over 100k EUR cash (we don't have leasing/etc. here) I don't want to have all this stuff going on with it. It's just madness and spoils everything - my wife's Skoda Superb is a much better car quality/build wise, jokes aside. Exploring options of a trade-in now to buy a Porsche Cayman GTS or maybe, just maybe M4 LCI - not sure about modern BMW's anymore. Sat in E60 LCI the other day... god, that thing was solid built. I miss my E64 now...

Pick up day, just over a year ago, when my 285,000 mile E53 said hello to my brand new F15 30d MSport. That was 26,000 miles, 1 service (at 19k miles), 1 set of rears and 3 Adblue top-ups ago!
