Yeah, I really was leaning towards those colors because they seemed most unique/elegant. Thanks for the feedback .

I am absolutely not a fan of silver, but this does look pretty sweet.

The "Matte Chrome" is a little misleading because it looks as if some rainbow effect on front bumper, makes it look like candy coated morph color, I think that's just a reflection, but still, even with that it looked a little odd, not uniform, just too white.
PS: your current color is still amazing, maybe save your money for down the line when your paint is not as good as it is now. |

I do agree about my current color being amazing, and that is really sound advice. I want to protect the current paint. I figure do C-quartz or try something really different/unique since my interior will be unique.

My buddy quoted me between $1400-$1600 depending on the material I choose and how difficult certain parts of the vehicle will be to wrap. I figure, if I go this route, I should wrap the X-Line lower front black bumper/wheel arches/running boards/lower rear black bumper? What do you guys think? Wrap the X-Line trim or only the Metallic White paint?

It's the Frozen for me.
One question; how durable are the wraps? What happens with stone chips or Numpty's that open their car door onto your wing and leave a tiny dent? How easy or difficult are they to maintain? |

I honestly have no idea. I'm reading different vehicle forums now regarding everything about wraps. I'll ask my buddy in detail tomorrow.

In case anyone was wondering what actual Alubeam Silver color looks like on a car, I think this video does a great job on the SLS:
The Alubeam Matte Chrome and Frozen Cashmere Silver are definitely my top two choices at the moment. Appreciate the feedback, everyone!

I vote cashmere.
However, I also think that waiting is a good idea. Perhaps until you get the feeling that you want a new car just because you're tired of the color. Then bam! New car (kinda). |

Do you guys have a video of the application process, I am really curious as to how they get it done so nicely and evenly throughout the vehicle, and at 1500 it seriously sounds like a bargain.
Like Baunton, I am also curious about durability, especially from parking lot dings & dents as well as rocks on the road. Because at the price, you can always go with the cheapest paint on stock vehicle and get this done, it's really awesome. |
