Mud Flaps, Yes/No, If Yes, Painted Yes/No
Those who have or have had mud flaps:
It would be for Min. White M Sport. Thank you. On F15 (Amazon/catalog photo) Painted (on E70, can't find photos of painted on F15 or specifically M Sport) On other BMWs |

I believe they are oem only for non Msport. I did get mud flaps on my x3 as it does accumulate lots of snow, hence protect front quarter panels. I did not get mflaps for my x5 non Msport as the front qtr panels are thermal plastic and will not rust in event of say stone chips from front wheels.

I would take them off. It looks nicer without it.

I am totally undecided. And, If painted would you leave the tire facing side black? Or paint both sides of the flap? |

Aesthetically don't do it. Now that I think about it, with so many bmw's in Toronto, I don't recall seeing any at all except on my x3.
If leased, don't do it. If you do it, with MW paint the outside MW as in the pic's shown otherwise the black and white contrast will definitely draw ones eyes immediately to your mflaps. Keep the inside black to match the wheel wells. Lucky you get to ski in real mountains with mflaps you might get more build up than this. http://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...hlight=fenders |

That link is crazy.....Ice Fenders! Wow! Yes, very lucky here with skiing; Squaw Valley is three hours and five minutes door to door in good weather. But I've been stuck for 10 hours in big storms. When it is really nasty, I take the LX470 -it can plow through a lot. Flaps.... They are cheap, so I might get them, paint the outside in MW, see how it looks and decide then. Good advice. |

Does anyone have mud flaps on their X5? Any pictures?
As we drove home in the rain today I noticed that I had a lot of debris on my rear fenders behind the wheels. I was thinking I should have mud flaps, maybe just on the rear. |
