Anti Dazzle Solved
Check out the coding thread. Opasha finally figured it out. I am proud to report Anti-Dazzle is fully functioning on my car with no blinding issues.
Thanks again to Omar for all he has done for all of us to enjoy our vehicles more than ever!!!! Everything you need to know is in the coding thread. Enjoy!!

I knew you could, even when you had given up! Thank you for doing this for the whole community. Link to coding guide for anti-dazzle: http://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...postcount=1297 http://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...postcount=1305

I just coded it on atomic80's car and he said they were moving a lot as well the way they should. He will give further feedback the more he drives . Thank you everyone for the positive words. Even though I have Bi-Xenons myself, I wanted to give back so everyone could have the LEDs they deserve and paid for. You all are a great community, and I'm proud to be a part of it .

I was getting ready to give up on coding after that recent software update, but this is great news. He doesn't even have LEDs yet he was passionate enough to make it work!
Matt... king? Nah, not a king, kings are too glamorous... I'd say, it's more like:

Thanks @opasha. Your efforts and commitment to this forum and all things F15 is very much appreciated.
You quoted @skalberti in an earlier thread on the description of Anti Dazzle, excerpt below: ############### Anti Glare, Anti Dazzle - European spec high beams that enable your car to keep the high beams on without blinding other cars. Currently not able to be coded in the US. ############### Does this mean that with this coding update Anti Dazzle is fully functioning for US F15s and it's now a more compelling reason to buy the $1900 LED lighting package option? |

I went out and drove around to see how well the anti-dazzle feature works after opasha had coded mine. Wow is all I can say, it's definitely an improvement! I can see the LEDs moving around the road, turn off, change with oncoming traffic, etc. This is what makes LED headlights all worth it! Thank you Opasha for setting this up for me! And doing all that you do for us too!

Great video. As cool of a tech it is, I don't see it being of use for myself living in a well-lit city. But I can see this being extremely useful where some of my fam lives.

That is a great video. I rarely use my high beams, but when I do, this looks like a good option.

Did it eliminate the two humps that you get with LEDs?

That is awesome and solidifies that I will add LEDs to my order. I'm curious though, would the recent software update wipe out this coding and make it so that it couldn't be redone?
Along those lines, would new purchases with the new structure not able to coded this? |
