Nicely done. 2, 5, 8 or 9, but you'd have to do the roof rails in black as well.

I spent at least 5 mins staring at it until I figured out it was the darkened fog lights.

I like 8, but don't darken the fog lights. It looks and will look tacky, trust me. I also agree with MattBianco about the roof rails being wrapped as well if you go with 8. At that point, you would also need to wrap your window trim too if it's still the satin finish. The only reason to not wrap the roof rails and window trim would be if you wanted some contract and matching accents to the lower grille silver fins.

As you have the aluminium trim on the roof I would opt for photo 1.
But taste and style defer quite a lot from country to country. What kind of wheels do you have? |

Like majority, I like 8 too, but my favorite is 1 and 9. All or nothing.
opasha I wanted to have a uniform look with the tinted fogs because the fogs left behind makes it very glossy, but here it is with stock fogs: Also another difference between 2 and 3, it's subtle but the BMW roundel is black and white instead of blue and white. One thing that would look a lot better is black/matte headlight housing instead of super glossy chrome housing. I know, it's extreme, and I wouldn't really consider it, but I'd imagine black housing (like Dodge Charger had before the facelift) Quote:
Before I do anything, I just want to get rid of orange reflectors.

Looking at the side pic I would definitely go for 1, I have the European version of your line and went for the ALU trim as well. The M sport trim looks great on some colors too, but I didn't want that aggressive look, furthermore the black trim is a PIA to keep real neat. And my wife's car has a lot of black trim unfortunately.

After seeing how good $200 3M shadow trim looks, that made me think if I should go for darker look, but didn't think about the roof rails, they will really look out of place.

I just saw your pictures in the picture thread, and I have to say that I really like how the current satin finish contrasts on your Jet Black color. I don't know if it's worth changing.

I know what you mean, tinted sides make a huge difference in making xline look even better. Like you said, since roof rails are going to be a pain to wrap (unless they are easy to remove, then they could be dipped) I think I am going to stick with satin aluminum for now.

Thanks! I was referring to BMW 551's. Any idea where they can be bought? Unless they cost $6k.

I added them individually: Front ($806.73 US): https://partsale.eu/de/spare-parts/v...47310-53676169 Rear ($900.58 US): https://partsale.eu/de/spare-parts/v...47311-57444641 I did NY zip code of 10009, but you can enter whatever. I just figured I'd try some close location to you. Good luck!

Add about $1200 to $1500 for tires, installed, we are above $3k for the set. I really love them, but I doubt they can survive NY's terrible roads. I think they would look awesome as summer set up on any M-Sport model since stock msport 19's are pretty small.

You can order from onlinetires.com at a much cheaper rate. However, some say good things and some say many bad things because of being out of stock or whatever. Take every good or bad comment with a grain of salt. I always do and I've never had issues. What many do is take the price from onlinetires.com and call up or email discounttire.com to price match, and they will do you better or match it. I will list for you the reviews of onlinetires.com followed by recent forums that discuss their orders from there and how some use discount tire to price match accordingly. Here is the price for your tires: The picture is supposed to show 275/40R20 (they are also the same price as the 275/45R20, but I selected them by mistake without realizing). Reviews: http://www.resellerratings.com/store/OnlineTires http://g35driver.com/forums/wheels-t...res-com-5.html Discount Tire price matching info from forums: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd...om-review.html http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/whe...tires-com.html
