Presentation: AC Schnitzer ACS5 5.0i based on X5 50i
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com at the beginning my first interst was to modify the sound of my ne X5 50i an I got into contact with the team of AC Schnitzer as they have a homologated version in there product range. Thanks to the good support and the very open minded relation my car got finally the complete AC Schnitzer modification for the BMW X5 F15 (rims, suspension, exhaust system, exterior, interior and motor tuning). Very special is the motor tuning of the 50i engine with EUR 6 emission standard. Up to now there was no solution for that new engine with TÜV approval (homolagtion) and AC Schnitzer finally has created a new motor tuning package including removal of the Vmax limit and an M instrument display for the higher max speed. This is now the very first X5 ACS5 5.0i. Motor tuning is based on DME programming with an performance upgrade from 450 hp to 525hp and an increase of 100 Nm torque. Especially the huge torque increase gives a complete other feeling to overall performance of the car. Here some first pictures. Here is a video from my car with that exhaust system directly after installation made by the Team of AC Schnitzer. It became much more insensitivity after 500 km. But it helps a little bit to get a first impression. Official AC Schnitzer press photos: best regards Marcus |

Beast!
I raced a G63 AMG and 2013 Jeep srt8, they had no chance against a stock50i Cant imagine what this much extra hp and torque would do Btw how much did the exhaust system cost you? It's 17k AED here in Dubai, so about 4500 US Dollars Didnt think its worth it for sound only |

Great to see a fellow member to have his car tuned by ACS. They do a great job, especially in terms quality and customer support - I'm enjoying their piggy-back solution on my F15.
P.S. WTB exhaust note record! |

The exhaust system costs in Germany including VAT around 2400,00 EUR. I had before another solution from a German tuning company, but I removed it completely. The sound was really tinny and only noisy. The AC Schnitzer solution is really designed for that car und you have also a very good sound when the engine is idling and it becomes really impressive on half or full throttle. Here is a video from my car with that exhaust system directly after installation made by the Team of AC Schnitzer. It became much more insensitivity after 500 km. But it helps a little bit to get a first impression. Best regards Marcus |

The costumer relation and the individual support is absoltuely fantastic. Of course I have the big advantage that my home is not very far away from their headquarter in Aachen. Nice to know the complete team! Best regards Marcus |

Congrats for your new ride.
Do you have only new springs or all new suspension? Do you have adaptive suspension? How is the ride comfort with the drop of suspension? Thanks in advance. I think you can help me decide what to do with my diesel f15 |

Nice ride!
Since there is no info yet about this engine conversion on the ACS website, can you confirm if this is a new software in the DME or a piggyback (extra control box)? Thanks! |

your f15 looks amazing but i honestly like the OEM black wheels better than those ACS wheels. The engine bay looks like and tidy and the exterior modding is subtle but enough to make the car unique. is the badge an actual badge or just a sticker?
