BMW Navigation Traffic and Road Hazard Data Source

Just FYI........ here is a link to the company that supplies BMW with map and traffic data, specifically to a scorecard they publish so you can see long-term traffic trends for your country/city/metro area: http://www.inrix.com/scorecard/

All those debris, accident, road closure stuff that pops up on your navi from time to time, all those fuel price info, etc. come from Inrix.

Background
In trying to resolve the seemingly permanent mysterious POI symbol in my navigation (thread link) (mystery resolved, a road closure POI located miles off the actual closure), I found an article (link) that indicated "Inrix" supplies BMW with traffic and map data. I have contacted them to see if they can relocate the incorrect road closure POI to the correct location.

If you are encountering navigation data issues, map problems, etc. you may want to contact their support desk as well. Contact link is in the bottom of this page: https://inrixtraffic.zendesk.com/hc/en-us

just FYI.
