I had excellent results with spacers. They were used to make the winter wheels look better than they otherwise did.
I just bought eBay spacers. Very inexpensive. I bought genuine BMW lug bolts of the appropriate length and torqued carefully. All good. |

I've run spacers forever on multiple vehicles and never had an issue with them.
I run 5 front/15 rear with OEM 20's & 21's. Pretty common setup. You could go more aggressive and run 15/20, but you'd have some poke. I've read 10 & 12 are not safe to run in front due to the hub lip or something. Check out this thread dedicated to spacers on this platform. https://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...hlight=spacers |

But not Germany on the autobahn. Quality matters. So do all the details. They’re blocked in countries where they’re misunderstood or they can’t trust their population to do it correctly.

Pretty reasonable apprehensions to have to the product. You like them I don’t, OP probably likes them and will use them and that’s all that’s reallly relevant take care

Even the cheap ones are found to be of a high quality nowadays. Everything is cnc precise.
Serious waste of money to pay the ridiculous prices of the uppity brand names. YMMV |

I'm running some random spacers off ebay. hubcentric of course. 15mm/20mm. been running them for 3 years now. Id say these are perfectly flush.

Just ordered 30mm for the back because it has 15mm and it looks like nothing is there. I have it lowered so it may tuck in more than on stock ride height. Then moving 15mm to the front. Will take a picture of before and after when I install it.

This thread makes me want to run the risk of spacers. What size would provide zero poke on stock suspension? It’s illegal to have spacers and or poke where I live but idk everyone does it

Same setup I have. No complaints, well the spacers I got were listed for an E39 so the included bolts were of no use so I had to buy longer bolts separately. Still worked out cheaper than X5 specific spacers.
